Fonmingtea is the first in Taiwan to grind whole-leaf tea into micro-particles and create:

Drip Bag? Pour-Over Tea? Hand-Drip Tea?

Fonmingtea has been blazing this innovative path for years.

With deep expertise in tea, Fonmingtea selects high-quality Taiwanese whole-leaf teas and refines them using exclusive grinding technology (Note 1). This transforms traditional tea into a modern beverage format.

Between 2002–2004, Fonmingtea began producing various cold brew teas and successfully commercialized them—turning traditional steeped tea into a grab-and-go model. (Note 2)

From this innovation came drip infusion, where ground micro-leaf tea is quickly brewed using hot water. The tea is rich, flavorful, and adapts to water temperatures. It can even be re-brewed or infused with herbs for new flavor profiles.

In 2008, the founders opened Taiwan’s first hand-drip tea shops in Tainan, challenging the conventional bucket-tea model with fresh, brewed-to-order drip teas that preserved the taste and aroma of freshly brewed leaves. (Note 3)
